Well, I’ve been hanging out with a bunch of Virgos lately, and I’ve gotta say, it’s been quite a ride. Let me tell you about my experiences with these guys and the so – called “worst traits” I’ve noticed.
First off, I started this little experiment by joining a group project with a couple of Virgos. I thought it’d be a piece of cake, you know? But boy, was I wrong. The Virgos in the group were so picky. They kept going over every single detail, like we were building a spaceship instead of just a simple presentation.
One of them, let’s call him Tom, was constantly checking the grammar in our slides. He’d stop the whole meeting to correct a single misspelled word. It was like, “Tom, we get it, it’s a typo, but can we just move on?” But he couldn’t let it go. According to a study I read somewhere (I don’t remember exactly where, but it’s out there), Virgos are known for their attention to detail, which can sometimes go overboard.
Another thing I noticed was their tendency to be overly critical. We were brainstorming ideas for the project, and every time someone came up with something, the Virgos would start listing all the reasons it wouldn’t work. It was like a buzzkill. For example, when my friend came up with a creative way to present our data, one of the Virgos just said, “That’s too risky. We don’t have the resources for that.” And it just killed the energy in the room.
Virgos also seem to be perfectionists to the extreme. They wanted everything in our project to be flawless. We had a deadline approaching, and instead of just finishing up and making it good enough, they were still trying to polish every little thing. I mean, sometimes good enough is good enough, right? But they couldn’t accept that.
As the project went on, I also found that Virgos can be a bit reserved. They didn’t really share much about their personal lives or their feelings. It was like they were always keeping a distance. I tried to have a casual chat with one of them outside of the project, and it was like pulling teeth to get a simple answer about their weekend. Experts say that Virgos are often private people, and that’s definitely been my experience.
When it came to making decisions, the Virgos in the group were so indecisive. We had to choose a color scheme for our presentation, and they just couldn’t make up their minds. They were weighing the pros and cons of every single option, and it took forever. I was like, “Guys, just pick one already!”
Another trait I noticed was their worry – wart nature. They were constantly worried about things going wrong. Even when everything seemed to be going smoothly, they’d start talking about all the possible disasters that could happen. It was really annoying, to be honest.
Virgos also have this tendency to be a bit judgmental. They’d look at the way someone dressed or talked and make comments under their breath. I heard one of them say about another team member, “Look at his shoes, they’re so old – fashioned.” It was just not cool.
And let’s not forget about their stubbornness. Once they had an opinion, they were not going to change it. We were discussing the order of the slides in our presentation, and one of the Virgos had a certain way he wanted it. Even when the rest of us showed him that another order would be better, he just wouldn’t budge.
Finally, they can be a bit work – aholic. They’d stay late at the office to work on the project, even when it wasn’t really necessary. It was like they couldn’t relax and just enjoy the process. They were always focused on getting the job done perfectly, no matter what.
All in all, my experience with these Virgos has been a mixed bag. While their attention to detail and hard – working nature can be an asset, their other traits can really make working with them a challenge. But hey, everyone’s got their quirks, right?
