Alright folks, today I actually sat down to figure out the connection between Pisces and Tarot cards. Always heard bits and pieces but never put in the work myself. Here’s exactly what I did, messy desk and all.
Kicking Things Off
First thing this morning, I dragged my old leather journal out from under a pile of sketchbooks – seriously, where does all this stuff come from? Grabbed my most basic Rider-Waite deck, too. Needed clarity, not fancy art. Opened a fresh page, wrote “Pisces & Tarot” real big at the top, then got my coffee. Fuel is essential.
The Hunt for Pisces’ Card
Okay, so I started flipping through a reference book I’ve had forever, the spine’s practically cracked in half. Scanned all 78 cards wondering “Which one screams Pisces?”. Ruled out obvious ones like fire signs quickly. Then I saw it: The Moon card. It just clicked. Pisces is all about deep feelings, dreams, intuition, right? Like swimming in the ocean of the subconscious. That’s Moon territory for sure – mystery, hidden things, the stuff just below the surface. Felt pretty confident this was the one. Scribbled “The Moon = Pisces Card? 🤔” in my journal.
Testing Out the Moon Meaning
I didn’t just take the book’s word for it though. I pulled out the Moon card myself. Stared at that path leading into darkness, the dog and wolf howling, that creepy crawfish emerging from the depths. Gave me major Pisces vibes – navigating uncertainty, trusting your gut even when you can’t see the full picture. Made sense Pisces would connect here. Jotted down thoughts: “Intuition”, “Dreams”, “Unseen fears?”, “Psychic stuff?”.
Upright vs. Reversed Drama
Next part always trips me up: upright and reversed meanings. Pulled the Moon upright again.
-
Upright Moon IRL:
Trusting my intuition paying off – like picking this card!
Deep dreams last night I actually remembered – weird Pisces water themes.
Some creative energy bubbling up, vague but exciting.
Flipped the darn thing upside down. Reversed Moon is… trickier.
-
Reversed Moon Feels:
Got overwhelmed by like three different worries for no good reason today.
Questioned myself non-stop – “Did I pick the wrong card??”
Felt kinda lost creatively, like hitting a fog wall. Classic Pisces overwhelm vibe.
The Messy Wrap-Up
So, after shuffling cards, spilling a bit of coffee (of course), and arguing with my own doubts, this is what I landed on:
Pisces totally vibes with The Moon card. Upright, it’s that deep dreamy intuition flowing freely, trusting the unseen. Beautiful Pisces energy! Reversed? Oof. That’s when all the confusion, hidden fears, and getting lost in the current happens. Hits way too close to home sometimes.
Does this mean every Pisces is constantly The Moon? Nah. Tarot’s messy, life’s messier. But seeing that connection helped me understand both Pisces energy and The Moon card way better. My journal page is a chaotic masterpiece of scribbles and coffee rings now. Felt good to actually do it instead of just wondering. Gonna sit with this for a bit. Or, y’know, go clear my foggy head. ✨
