Scrolled past three spammy sites before landing on that familiar turquoise layout. Bold text screamed: “Your discipline shines! Tackle neglected tasks now!”
My Weeklong Experiment
- Tuesday: Actually opened my cluttered inbox. Saw overdue emails from my passive-aggressive cousin. Typed five polite responses. Felt like pulling teeth. Hit send anyway.
- Wednesday: That “toxic friendships” warning flashed in my head during lunch. Sat alone instead of fake-laughing with Karen’s drama club. Ate my sandwich in peace. Miraculous.
- Thursday: Horoscope said “finances require attention”. Did my taxes three months early. Calculator froze mid-calculation. Nearly chucked it out the window.
Did Any of It Work?
By Friday evening, my apartment looked decent-ish. Cleared one drawer worth of crap instead of my whole closet like the stars suggested. Got three boring-but-necessary emails handled. Still ignored my phone when Karen called though.
Overall Verdict
Maybe coincidence. Maybe cosmic guidance. Honestly? That week sucked 20% less than usual. Didn’t become some hyper-productive goddess. But hey – finishing taxes early felt like levelling up in adulting. Might try horoscopes again next time my life’s circling the drain.
