Back in 2019, I was deep into the whole Virgo career horoscope thing. I was stuck in a job that I wasn’t really feeling, and I kept wondering if it was the right time to make a change.
I started by checking out all sorts of horoscope websites. I’d click around, read what they had to say about Virgo careers in 2019. Some said it was a great time to switch jobs, while others were like, “Hold your horses, buddy.”
I decided to dig deeper. I talked to some friends who were into astrology. One of them was like, “Dude, if the stars are aligning, you gotta go for it.” So, I started looking at job listings. I’d scroll through pages and pages of them, clicking on the ones that seemed interesting.

I made a list of companies I wanted to apply to. Then, I started writing cover letters. It was a pain in the butt, let me tell you. I’d type something, read it, and then delete it. I must have rewritten those cover letters a million times.
After that, I sent out my applications. I kept checking my email every five minutes, waiting for a response. It was like waiting for Santa on Christmas Eve. And then, finally, I got some calls for interviews.
I prepped for those interviews like crazy. I practiced answering questions in the mirror. I was talking to myself like a lunatic. When the interview days came, I dressed up nice and headed out.
Some of the interviews went okay, and some were just disasters. But then, I landed an offer from a company that I really liked. I was over the moon. I had done it! I had changed my job just like the horoscope said I might.
Looking back, I’m not sure if it was really the horoscope that made it happen or just a bunch of hard work on my part. But it was an adventure, that’s for sure.
