I’ve always been curious about tarot cards. One day, I decided to dig into what the tarot cards trumps symbolize. So, I started off by getting myself a tarot deck. I went to a local new – age shop and picked one that looked cool and had nice illustrations.
After getting the deck, I sat down at my table and carefully shuffled the cards. I was kind of nervous, like I was about to uncover some big secrets. Then, I started with the Major Arcana cards one by one. I took out The Fool card first. It showed a guy walking off a cliff, looking all carefree. I thought, “What the heck does this mean?”
I grabbed a tarot guidebook that came with the deck and started reading. It said The Fool represents new beginnings, innocence, and taking risks. I thought about my own life and how sometimes I need to be like The Fool and just jump into new things without over – thinking.
Next up was The Magician. The image on the card had this guy standing in front of a table with all these tools. The guidebook said he symbolizes manifestation, power, and the ability to make things happen. I was like, “Wow, I could use some of that power in my life!”
I kept going through each card, turning them over and reading about their meanings. The High Priestess was all about intuition and hidden knowledge. I realized that I don’t always trust my gut as much as I should.
As I went through more cards, I noticed that some of the meanings were really deep. The Lovers card, for example, wasn’t just about romantic love. It was also about choices and balance in relationships. I thought about the choices I’ve made in my friendships and romantic life.
I spent hours going through the whole deck. By the end of it, I felt like I’d opened a door to a whole new world. I even tried doing a simple tarot reading for myself. I shuffled the cards again and pulled out three. One for the past, one for the present, and one for the future.
The past card was The Tower, which according to the book meant sudden change and upheaval. I could totally relate to that because last year, I lost my job out of the blue. The present card was The Star, symbolizing hope and inspiration. And the future card was The World, representing completion and achievement.
Doing this whole tarot exploration was really eye – opening. It made me think about my life in a different way. I’m not saying I’m an expert now, but I’ve definitely got a better understanding of what those tarot card trumps symbolize. And who knows, maybe I’ll do another reading soon to see if things are still on track!
