Well, I’ve always been kinda curious about tarot cards. You know, those fancy cards that people say can tell the future. So, I decided to give it a shot and see if slow holler tarot, whatever that is, could really predict the future.
I started by getting myself a tarot deck. I went to a little new – age shop downtown. I walked in, looked around, and there were all these different tarot decks. I picked one that had these really cool, spooky – looking pictures on the cards. I paid for it and walked out of the shop with my new deck in hand.
Once I got home, I sat down at my kitchen table. I shuffled the cards. It felt a bit weird at first, like I was doing something super secret. I shuffled them real good, making sure they were all mixed up. Then, I decided to do a simple three – card spread. I laid the first card down, and it was this card with a guy standing on a cliff. I thought, “What the heck does this mean?”

I went online to look up what the card meant. I read some stuff, but it was all so vague. It said things like “facing a decision” or “being on the edge of a new beginning.” I was like, “Come on, that could mean anything!”
I laid the second card. It was a card with a bunch of cups. The online guide said it was about emotions and relationships. I thought, “Okay, that’s a bit more relatable, but still, it’s not like it’s telling me who I’m gonna date next week.”
The third card was a card with a sword. It talked about challenges and conflicts. I was starting to get a bit frustrated. I mean, these descriptions were so general. It was like they could apply to anyone’s life at any time.
I decided to do another spread, a five – card spread this time. I repeated the process of shuffling and laying the cards down. As I was doing it, I was thinking, “This better be more specific.” But again, the interpretations were just as wishy – washy. One card was supposed to represent the past, and it talked about some old patterns. I was like, “Well, everyone has old patterns, right?”
I kept at it for a few days, doing different spreads every day. I even asked some of my friends if they wanted to try. One of my friends did a spread, and the cards seemed to point to her having a new opportunity at work. A few weeks later, she did get a new project at work, but I’m not sure if it was really because of the tarot or just a coincidence.
After a while, I started to think that maybe slow holler tarot, or any tarot for that matter, isn’t really about predicting the future. Maybe it’s more about getting us to think about our lives, our choices, and our emotions. It’s like a little nudge to look at things from a different angle. But as for actually telling me what’s gonna happen tomorrow or next year, I’m still pretty skeptical.
So, in conclusion, my experiment with slow holler tarot was an interesting one. It was fun to play around with the cards and see what they “said.” But when it comes to real – life future prediction, I don’t think it’s as accurate as some people make it out to be. Maybe it’s more of a tool for self – reflection than a crystal ball. And that’s my take on it!
