I’ve always been into tarot cards. One day, I saw these blank tarot cards online and got curious. I thought, “Why not give them a shot and see if they’re worth it?” So, I just went ahead and ordered a set.
When the blank tarot cards arrived, I was kind of excited. I started by just looking at them. They were so plain, just white cards. I held one in my hand and thought, “What can I do with this?” Then I decided to start customizing them. I got out my colored pens and markers.
I began to draw symbols that I associated with different meanings. For example, when I thought about the concept of love, I drew a heart. It was a slow process. I had to think hard about what each card should represent. I spent hours sitting at my table, drawing and coloring.
As I was working on them, I realized that this was a great way to really understand the tarot. I wasn’t just relying on the pre – drawn images on regular tarot cards. I was creating my own connections. For instance, I made a card for “new beginnings” and drew a sprouting seed. It was so much more personal.</
