At the beginning of January 2022, I was really into checking out my Virgo monthly horoscope. I thought, “Hey, why not give it a shot and see if it can help me out this month.”
The horoscope said I should focus on self – improvement. So, I started by making a list of things I wanted to improve about myself. I wrote down things like reading more books, learning a new language, and exercising regularly.
I went to the library and borrowed a bunch of books. I told myself, “I’m gonna read at least one book this month.” Every night, instead of watching TV, I sat down and read for a while. It was a bit hard at first, ’cause I was used to just chilling in front of the screen. But as I got into the books, I found it really interesting.
For learning the new language, I downloaded a language – learning app. I set a goal to learn 10 new words every day. I’d repeat those words over and over again, trying to remember them. Sometimes, I’d even try to use them in simple sentences. It was like a little game for myself.
Exercise was another thing. The horoscope said it would boost my energy. I signed up for a local gym. On the first day, I was so nervous. I didn’t know how to use half of the machines. But the gym staff helped me out. I started with some light cardio, like walking on the treadmill. Then, I gradually added some strength training.
As the month went on, I could really feel the changes. I was more focused at work. I was making more friends because I was more confident from learning new things. And I had way more energy throughout the day thanks to the exercise.
By the end of January 2022, I realized that following the horoscope tips was actually a pretty good idea. I achieved a lot of the goals I set for myself. I’m definitely gonna keep these good habits going, and I’ll probably check my horoscope again next month to see what other cool things I can do.
