With the extra money I was making, I didn’t just spend it all. I talked to a friend who knew about investing. He told me some basic things about stocks and mutual funds. I started putting a small amount of money into a mutual fund every month. It wasn’t a huge investment, but I hoped it would grow over time.
Step 5: Networking and Learning More
I also joined some online groups for freelancers. I talked to other people in the same field. I learned a lot of new things from them, like how to find high – paying clients and how to manage my time better. I even met some people who offered me some joint projects. These projects helped me make even more money.
By the end of 2022, I had definitely made more money than I did before. It wasn’t easy. There were a lot of hard times, like when I got rejected for jobs or when I was struggling to learn new skills.
