Well, let me tell you my story about chasing the so – called “golden dream”.
At first, I was just a regular guy with a normal job. I heard about this golden dream thing from a friend. He said there was a great opportunity out there that could make me rich. I got excited right away and decided to give it a shot.
I started by doing some research. I read a bunch of articles online, talked to other people who were also interested in it. I learned that I needed to invest some money to get started. So, I saved up all my extra cash and took the plunge.
I bought some stocks related to this so – called golden opportunity. I watched the market every day, checking the prices like a hawk. Sometimes the prices went up, and I felt really happy, thinking I was on the right track. But other times, they went down, and I started to worry.
As time went on, I realized that it wasn’t as easy as I thought. There were a lot of factors affecting the market. I had to deal with all kinds of unexpected situations. For example, a new policy came out that really messed up the market. My stocks’ prices dropped like crazy.
I also had to put in a lot of time and energy. I spent countless nights staying up late, trying to figure out what to do next. I even skipped some family gatherings because I was so focused on this golden dream.
But then, I started to think about it more. I asked myself, was all this really worth it? I was sacrificing my time with family and friends, and there was no guarantee that I would actually achieve this golden dream.
Finally, I decided to pull out. I sold my stocks at a loss. It was a tough decision, but I realized that there were more important things in life than just chasing money. I went back to my normal job, and I started to enjoy my life again, spending more time with my family and friends.
So, here are the three reasons I think the golden dream might not be worth chasing. First, it’s full of uncertainties. You never know what’s going to happen in the market. Second, it takes a huge amount of time and energy. You might end up neglecting the important people in your life. Third, the cost of failure can be really high. You could lose a lot of money and end up in a bad situation.
That’s my story, and I hope it can give you some food for thought.
