First thing I did was clean out my LinkedIn profile like the stars suggested. Dusted off old contacts, updated my skills section, even used that dumb “Open to Work” banner. Felt silly but did it anyway. Then started reaching out to college friends working in tech – bought coffee for three people who ghosted me afterward. Almost gave up by January.
