Well, I’ve always been into these card things. You know, tarot cards and oracle cards. I was curious about what’s the real difference between them, so I decided to do some hands – on exploration.
First off, I went to a local second – hand store. I rummaged through a bunch of old boxes and finally found a couple of tarot card decks and oracle card decks. I was so excited, like a kid in a candy store. I grabbed them and paid the money, then rushed back home.
Once I got home, I sat down at my little table. I took out the tarot cards first. They felt a bit heavier in my hand, like they carried some kind of weight. I shuffled them around, and it was a bit tricky at first. The cards were a bit stiff, and I fumbled a few times. But then I got the hang of it. I laid out a simple three – card spread, just like I saw in some videos.
The images on the tarot cards were really detailed. There were all these symbols and characters, and it felt like they were telling a story. I tried to make sense of them, but it was tough. I was like, “What the heck is this little guy doing with that sword?” It was like trying to solve a really hard puzzle.
After that, I moved on to the oracle cards. They were lighter, and the colors were more vivid. Shuffling them was easier, and they seemed more flexible. I did the same thing, laid out a spread. The pictures on the oracle cards were more straightforward. They were like little snapshots of life, and it was easier for me to get a general idea of what they might mean.
I did this a few more times, switching between the tarot and oracle cards. I found that the tarot cards made me think a lot more. I had to dig deep into my brain to figure out the hidden meanings. But the oracle cards gave me quick, simple messages, like a little pat on the back or a gentle nudge in a certain direction.
As I kept doing these spreads over a few days, I started to notice some patterns. The tarot cards seemed to focus more on long – term stuff, like life goals and big decisions. The oracle cards, on the other hand, were more about the here and now, like how I was feeling that day or what small thing I should do next.
So, after all this hands – on experience, I can say that the difference between tarot cards and oracle cards is real. Tarot cards are like a deep, complex book, while oracle cards are like a short, sweet note. And it’s up to you to decide which one you like better, depending on what kind of advice or inspiration you’re looking for.
