The Chasing Part
Felt brave. Sent emails to those two clients asking nicely about the overdue payments. Used phrases like “just following up” and “would appreciate an update”. Felt awkward sending them.
Weird Stuff Happened Later
Around lunchtime, got a call about an eBay thing I sold weeks ago. Turns out, when I mailed it, I messed up the address label originally. Buyer got it late and sent payment ages ago, but I forgot to check my PayPal! The money was sitting there already.
Then, one of the clients I emailed actually replied instantly. Apologized, said they forgot, and paid the invoice right there! Like, within the hour. Unexpected cash popping up.
Final Thoughts
So, Shelley’s horoscope basically told me: be a boring, organized Virgo today. And somehow, actually doing the boring stuff worked?
- Putting effort into the little details paid off.
- Clearing the clutter literally brought in money I forgot about.
- Being a bit annoying and chasing debts actually worked.
Not magic. Just effort. And maybe a Virgo’s talent for paperwork? I’ll take it. Feels good to have stuff sorted and cash in the account. Should I do this boring organizing stuff more often? Probably. Will I? We’ll see tomorrow.
