Tips for Your Best Virgo Daily Horoscope on Key Dates 2014

So I wanted to make a super useful Virgo horoscope guide for those important days back in 2014, figured it’d be a neat project. Started by grabbing my old notebooks where I scribbled down moon phases and planet stuff – total mess, coffee stains everywhere. Couldn’t even read half of it.

Getting the Raw Data

First thing was collecting all the astro events for 2014. Pulled out three different ephemerides books – none agreed on the exact times for retrogrades, naturally. Spent like two hours just cross-referencing Mercury retrograde dates alone. Seriously considered throwing the books out my window. Ended up averaging the times like a chump because, what else could I do?

Tracking Virgo-Specific Stuff

Then I zeroed in on anything involving Virgo. That meant noting whenever the sun, moon, or big planets hit Virgo signs throughout the year. Got obsessive checking:

  • Every New and Full Moon landing in Virgo
  • Mercury and Venus transiting through Virgo houses
  • Any major aspects hitting Virgo planets

Drew little Virgo glyphs next to each key date in my planner – looked like some chaotic art project by day three.

Testing Daily Predictions

Woke up each key date determined to test theories. March 1st had Mercury entering Virgo, so I organized my entire desk alphabetically. Felt weirdly satisfying. Then August 25th, Full Moon in Virgo, tried deep-cleaning my closet. Found socks I’d mourned. But November 10th with Saturn square Virgo placements? My car battery died and my laptop crashed. Should’ve seen that coming.

The worst was actually writing tips. For Mercury Rx periods, I wrote “double-check emails” but got four typos in one advice paragraph. Classic. Kept it real though – told Virgos to stock extra pens during retrogrades because they WILL disappear.

Pulling It All Together

Compiled everything into this big ugly spreadsheet:

  • Top left: Planetary transits timed to the hour
  • Right side: What worked/didn’t work for me during each phase
  • Bottom: Color-coded chaos level for each week (spoiler: red everywhere)

Printed it out and spilled tea on the final copy. Had to rewrite four pages by hand, wrist still aches.

Now the guide’s scuffed up paper planners and highlighters everywhere, but man, Virgos in 2014 would’ve nailed their laundry schedules at least. Learned to buy backups for literally everything.
