Virgo Monthly Horoscope Susan Miller 2017: What did the stars say?

Virgo Monthly Horoscope Susan Miller 2017: What did the stars say?

Man, 2017. What a year. I remember stumbling onto Susan Miller’s Astrology Zone, specifically the Virgo monthly horoscope, sometime late 2016. I was at this weird point in my life, you know? Just kind of floating, not really sure where I was headed. Someone online mentioned her, said she was the real deal. So, being a typical Virgo, always looking for a plan, always trying to make sense of things, I decided to give it a shot. I marked my calendar. Every first of the month, I’d pull up her site and dive into that crazy long Virgo forecast.

January hit and I was all eyes. I read about new beginnings, something about a fresh start in my work life. Now, I wasn’t actively looking for a new job, but I’d been feeling restless at my old one. So, I took it as a sign to actually do something. I updated my resume, polished it up, even though I didn’t send it anywhere. Just the act of getting it ready felt like I was playing along with the stars. I started looking at online courses too, thinking about picking up some new skills, just in case. Did I land a new job? Nope. But I started feeling a bit more proactive about my career path, which was something.

Then came February and March. She talked a lot about relationships and partnerships. For a Virgo like me, that often meant overthinking everything. I remember she hinted at some bumps, maybe some miscommunications. I definitely felt that. My partner and I had a few more spats than usual. Nothing major, just those little disagreements that niggle at you. Instead of blowing up, I actually tried to listen more, and tried not to jump to conclusions, something I’m terrible at. I found myself biting my tongue more often. It didn’t solve everything, but it definitely eased some tension. I took it as a prompt to work on my communication, which is always a good idea anyway, right?

April and May were about travel and expanding horizons. I remember reading about opportunities to learn something new or take a short trip. Now, I wasn’t exactly planning an exotic vacation, but my buddy called me up and asked if I wanted to go camping for a long weekend. Usually, I’d say no – too much effort, too many bugs. But remembering the horoscope, I figured, why not? It was a small thing, just a few hours drive away, but it felt like I was embracing that energy. We had a blast. It got me out of my routine, out of my head. Plus, I learned how to set up a proper tent, which is a life skill, I guess.

By June and July, the focus shifted to home and family for me. She talked about making changes around the house or connecting with relatives. My parents had been hinting about coming to visit for ages, and I always put them off. But this time, I actually called them up and said, “Come on over!” I spent a weekend cleaning out my spare room, making it actually hospitable. They came, we had a really nice time, and I realized how much I’d been missing that connection. I also finally got around to fixing that leaky faucet in the bathroom. Small win, but it felt good.

August was a big one for Virgos, apparently. She always makes a big deal about our birthdays, you know? And she really highlighted personal growth and stepping into my power. I saw that and thought, “Okay, power, what does that even mean for me?” I decided to sign up for a public speaking workshop at the local community center. Terrified, absolutely terrified. But I pushed myself. I went to a few sessions, stuttered through some presentations, and felt like an absolute idiot. But by the end, I felt this weird sense of accomplishment. I didn’t become a TED talker, but I learned to manage my nerves a bit better, and that felt like stepping into some kind of personal power.

September and October brought up finances and possessions. Not necessarily winning the lottery, but more about managing what I had. I saw it as a push to get my money in order. I sat down, looked at my bank statements, figured out where all my cash was actually going. I wasn’t exactly spending wildly, but I found a few subscriptions I didn’t need and cut them. I also started a small savings plan, just putting a little bit aside each week. It wasn’t exciting, but it made me feel more in control of my situation, less anxious about bills.

Finally, November and December rolled around. She talked about communications, writing, and short trips again. I noticed a lot of opportunities to connect with friends I hadn’t seen in a while. I started actually replying to texts more promptly, initiating coffee meetups. I found myself just chatting more, laughing more. I also decided to finally start a little online journal, just for myself, to dump my thoughts. Nothing fancy, no big audience, just me writing for me. It was a simple thing, but it helped clear my head a lot. And for those short trips, I ended up just visiting some local museums and parks I’d never bothered with before, just to see what was out there close by.

Looking back at that whole year, following Susan Miller’s horoscopes wasn’t about expecting specific events to happen exactly as she wrote them. It was more about having a framework, a kind of nudge, to pay attention to certain areas of my life each month. Did everything she say come true? Of course not. But did it make me think about things differently, and act on impulses I might have ignored otherwise? Absolutely. It gave me a prompt to try new things, face small challenges, and just be more mindful about my decisions. It was less about predestination and more about getting me off my butt and engaging with my own life in a more intentional way. And for that, 2017 ended up being a pretty good year after all.
