The website showed this purple box with stars everywhere. Main points:
- Mercury’s alignment means perfect day for boring paperwork
- Mars in something warns against arguing with coworkers
- Some planet retrograde suggests asking for feedback
Total horoscope gibberish but whatever.
How I Turned Star Talk Into Real Plans
Grabbed my ugly yellow legal pad and wrote:
- Morning block (8-10AM): Crush month-end reports (that’s Mercury’s paperwork thing)
- Lunchtime: Ask manager about my client approach (feedback bullshit)
- Afternoon: Shut mouth during team meeting (Mars warning)
Stuck the note on my monitor before bed. Felt ridiculous but hey.
What Actually Happened at Work
8:15AM: Got coffee. Stared at reports. Horoscope got one thing right – this paperwork WAS easier today. Finished before 10.

Would I trust star signs for major life decisions? Hell no. But using that horoscope as a structure made me actually think through my workday instead of winging it. The act of writing specific goals mattered more than Mercury’s position. Still feel like an idiot though – gonna hide that yellow notepad before coworkers see it.
