So yesterday I dug through my old notebooks because somebody asked about Virgo stuff from 2015. Figured I’d share how I actually put that monthly horoscope together way back then. Total mess at first but kinda fun to revisit.
Started by grabbing my trusty Ephemeris book – yeah, the thick paper one with ink smudges. Flipped straight to September 2015 pages. Almost spilled coffee right there when I saw Jupiter’s position. Had to wipe the page with my sleeve before the ink ran.
Next, opened three astrology apps on my phone – all gave different Mercury retrograde dates. Typical! Cross-referenced manually:
September 17th through October 9th – wrote that down in ALL CAPS with a red pen. Couldn’t trust apps alone back then.
Noticed Saturn squaring Venus around early September. My pencil snapped sketching that aspect. Had to sharpen it twice before finishing that lousy star map. Calculation was:
- Saturn 0° Scorpio
- Venus 0° Leo
- Harsh 90° angle
Took three tries to get the orb right. Kept mixing up degrees like a rookie.
Biggest headache? Mars-Neptune opposition mid-month. Apps kept crashing when I tried screenshotting planetary paths. Ended up scribbling trajectories on a pizza napkin instead. Greasy stains on Neptune’s section now. Kinda fitting.
Key dates I circled after triple-checking:
- Sep 5: Career vibes with Sun-Jupiter
- Sep 13: Full moon chaos in Pisces
- Sep 24: Saturn direct moment
- Sep 27: Eclipse drama alert
Last part was advice. Remembered how Virgos in my circle panicked about Mercury retrograde back then. Wrote in messy handwriting at the bottom: “Don’t buy electronics Sept 18-22 unless you wanna curse your WiFi.” Still true.
Took the whole soggy notebook to the copy shop. Guy looked horrified scanning my coffee-stained Mercury notes. Paid extra for laminated printouts so it wouldn’t disintegrate when handing them out. Money well spent.
