So today I thought it’s funny how astrology stuff sometimes just pops up when you least expect it. Saw that Virgo love horoscope thing for March 8th and went “huh, why not try it?” Honestly didn’t expect much, but screw it – here’s what happened.
What the Horoscope Said
Basically it was like: “Virgos, stop overthinking relationships! Be open to small moments today. Fix your grumpy vibe first.” Also told us to declutter physical spaces to “let love energy flow.” Kinda vague but alright.
My Morning Routine Changes
Woke up earlier than usual. Instead of doomscrolling through my phone, I actually did two things:
- Took ten minutes to wipe dust off my bedroom shelves (yes, including those expired vitamins from 2023)
- Made coffee while consciously NOT mentally replaying yesterday’s awkward Zoom call
Felt surprisingly lighter after. Maybe placebo? Dunno.
The “Openness” Experiment
Decided to test the “be open” advice at work. Normally I’d wear headphones walking to lunch. Today I didn’t. When Sarah from accounting said “That sandwich looks messy!” I usually would’ve just nodded. Instead I laughed and said: “Yeah, I’m basically a raccoon eating trash.” She snorted and shared her taco place secret. Weirdly wholesome.
Evening Reflection Surprise
Got home and my messy coffee table bugged me. Remembered the “declutter” tip and actually sorted three weeks of mail. Under a pizza coupon? A handwritten card from my neighbor thanking me for feeding her cat last month. I’d totally forgotten about it. Texted her a cat meme – instant happy reply.
Turns out the horoscope wasn’t magic… but doing dumb little actions somehow shook up my usual patterns. Less “manifesting love energy” crap, more like cleaning your crap literally AND mentally makes space for better interactions. Even skeptical me can’t argue with that.
