So today I saw my Virgo horoscope pop up on my feed and it said “Hey singles! Tonight’s your night to shine!” Got me curious, ya know? Figured why not give it a shot since my dating life’s been drier than stale crackers lately.
The Prep Work
First thing, I checked what the horoscope actually recommended. Said Virgos should wear something green – like literally anything green. Dug through my closet and found this faded mint tee with a taco print. Done.
Next tip was to carry lavender. Found an old lavender hand sanitizer in my gym bag. Close enough. Smelled like cheap hotel soap mixed with herbs, but whatever.
Execution Time
Went to this basement bar downtown where they do $5 old fashioneds on Thursdays. Did exactly what the stars said:
- Sat near running water – Parked my butt by the leaky bathroom sink
- Started random convos – Told the bartender her nose ring looked like my grandma’s curtain hook
- Complimented three strangers – Told some dude his beard had crumbs in it (he called it “art”)
Results
Around 11pm, this guy in snake-print pants asked about my taco shirt. We talked about why Chipotle guac costs extra for like 20 minutes. Exchanged numbers when the bartender started mopping around our feet.
Wild part? His instagram bio says “Gemini seeking adventure”. Horoscope said Geminis are compatible with Virgos tonight. Spooky.
Overall? Meh. Got one lukewarm date setup instead of zero. Still beats swiping left till my thumb cramps.
