Well, I’ve always been kinda curious about tarot cards, especially those so – called auspicious ones. So, I decided to do my own little experiment to see if they’re really reliable.
First off, I went to a local new – age shop. I walked in, looked around at all the strange stuff on the shelves, and finally found a pack of tarot cards. I picked it up, paid for it, and headed home.
Once I got home, I sat down at my table. I shuffled the cards like I’d seen in movies. It was a bit clumsy at first, but I kept at it. Then, I decided to do a simple three – card spread. I laid the cards out one by one, looking at them with a mix of excitement and skepticism.
The first card was supposed to represent the past. It showed some kind of a broken bridge. I thought about my past and tried to connect it. I remembered a time when I had a big fight with a friend, and our relationship kinda broke down, just like that bridge on the card. I was like, “Whoa, maybe there’s something to this.”
The second card was for the present. It had a picture of a person standing alone in a field. I thought about my current situation. I’d been feeling a bit lonely lately, spending a lot of time by myself. It seemed to fit.
The third card, representing the future, showed a rainbow. I was hoping it meant good things were coming. But then I thought, “Come on, this could just be wishful thinking.”
Over the next few weeks, I kept checking in on my life. I didn’t really see any huge changes that could be directly linked to that rainbow card. The friend I had the fight with didn’t come back into my life. And I was still feeling lonely sometimes.
I did the spread a few more times. Sometimes the cards seemed to match what was going on in my life, but other times, they were way off. I even asked a few of my friends to do the spread for themselves. One of them got a card that said something about a big adventure, but he didn’t go on any adventures at all. Another friend got a card about love, but she was still single.
After all these experiments, I started to think that maybe these auspicious tarot cards aren’t as reliable as people say. Sure, sometimes they seem to hit the mark, but that could just be a coincidence. There’s no real scientific proof that they can predict the future or tell us what’s going on in our lives. Maybe they’re just a fun way to think about things, but not something we should really rely on.
So, there you have it, my little journey into the world of auspicious tarot cards. It was an interesting ride, but I’m still not convinced they’re the real deal.
