What I Did First
Okay so I saw folks online buzzing about good days for Virgos in March. Felt curious, right? Especially after my January and February were kinda… meh. Bills felt weirdly tight, missed a couple opportunities I swore I was lined up for. Thought maybe tracking planetary vibes might help. Didn’t wanna just read a prediction, though. Wanted to see where they were coming from. So I grabbed my notes app.
First step: checked the basic stuff everyone points to – where the moon was every day. Pulled up a basic moon phase calendar online. Scribbled it down for each day in March. Easy. Noticed the New Moon early on (March 10th-ish) and the Full Moon hitting later (March 25th). Everyone says those are big for setting intentions and releasing stuff.
The Messy Part (It Got Weird)
Then, I heard “Mercury retrograde shadow period starts early March.” Panic mode? Nah, Virgo here, we know Mercury. Pulled up planet transit times. Mercury retrograde was March 10th to April something? Fine. But figuring out when it was near specific angles to other planets? This got messy. Looked at sites listing exact degrees, times. My notes looked like gibberish:
- March 4th: Sun conjunct Jupiter? Maybe? 12° Pisces?
- March 10th: New Moon in Pisces AND Mercury Rx begins. Double whammy?
- March 21st: Sun into Aries but Mars is… doing what exactly?
Felt totally lost. Cross-referencing 4 different sources, times were off, some sites listed minor aspects I didn’t even know mattered. Frustrating! Almost threw my phone. What the heck counts as a “lucky” aspect anyway?
How I Finally Got Some Clarity
Stopped trying to calculate exact times myself. Waste of energy. Instead, focused on the big themes pros were saying for Virgo:
- Focus shifting to home & emotional stuff (Pisces season + New Moon there)
- Career energy picking up mid-month (Sun moving into Aries around the 20th)
- Communication needing extra care after the 10th (duh, Mercury Rx)
So, instead of pinpointing magic hours, I blocked time in my planner based on these themes:
- First Week/Mid-March (before Mercury Rx): Focused. Finalized client proposals, scheduled important meetings. Used that Pisces new moon energy for setting intentions around feeling secure at home, not just money.
- After March 20th: Pushed harder on career stuff. Followed up on leads, pitched a new idea. Felt the Aries fire giving me guts. Had one decent meeting the 22nd that felt promising.
- All Month after the 10th: Double-checked EVERYTHING. Emails, documents, appointments. Slowed down my replies. Saved big news until after Mercury went direct. Saved me from at least one major typo in an email!
The Real Outcome (No Magic, Just Vibes)
Did I win the lottery? Nope. Did some mysterious luck fall in my lap? Also no. BUT. Planning around the big shifts felt smoother somehow. Knowing the potential communication chaos post-March 10th made me paranoid in a good way. That home/family focus early on? Actually sat down and budgeted properly, felt less anxious about rent. And pushing career stuff after the 20th? Coincidence or not, I felt more confident chasing it. End of March feels clearer than the start did. Less chaotic luck, more intentional action based on the forecasted vibes.
