Starting My Virgo Predictions Research
So last Tuesday I sat down with my coffee at 6 AM like always. Pulled out three different astrology books I trust – the ones with dog-eared pages and coffee stains. Figured I’d compare their 2024 forecasts for Virgo first before blending my own take.
The Jupiter Situation
Immediately noticed all three sources agreed Jupiter entering Gemini in May is massive for Virgos. Started scribbling notes:
- Career stuff gets exciting around June
- Networking becomes super important
- But watch out for spreading yourself too thin
Kept circling May in my planner with a red marker. This transit’s too big to ignore.
Dealing with Mercury Madness
Then came the Mercury retrograde dates. Ugh. Always messes with my plans. Marked these three periods on my fridge calendar:
- April 1-25 (worst for travel plans)
- August 5-28 (tech headaches central)
- November 25-December 15 (holiday shipping disasters)
Made a mental note to warn fellow Virgos about signing contracts during these windows.
The Saturn Surprise
This one threw me. Two books said Saturn in Pisces would make finances tricky, but the third claimed it helps spiritual growth. Cross-referenced planetary aspects for hours at the library. Turns out both are right – you’ll feel pressure to budget better (annoying) but it’ll push you toward meaningful work (cool).
Putting It All Together
Spent Thursday afternoon organizing monthly themes:
- January-March: Slow starts, focus on health
- April-June: Career shifts + Mercury chaos
- July-September: Relationship shakeups
- October-December: Money lessons + year-end surprises
Had to redo this twice when I realized I mixed up the eclipse dates. Almost spilled tea all over my notes – classic Mercury retrograde preview!
The Final Reality Check
Showed my draft to my Virgo buddy Linda Friday night. She spotted two contradictions I’d missed (of course a Virgo would). Fixed those while muttering about perfectionism being both our strength and curse. Finally hit publish Saturday morning feeling equal parts excited and terrified some minor planet I forgot would prove me wrong. That’s astrology life!
