Well, I’ve always been intrigued by tarot cards, and the burning questions about common spreads got me really excited to dig in. So, I started off by getting myself a basic tarot deck. I mean, you can’t do much without the cards, right?
I first sat down at my little table and shuffled the cards like a pro. I was nervous but also super eager to see what these spreads were all about. I remembered reading somewhere that shuffling is not just for randomness but also a way to connect with the cards. So, I did it for a good while, making sure I was fully focused.
Then, I decided to try out the Three – Card Spread. I laid out three cards in a row. The first card, they say, represents the past. It was like looking back at a part of my life that I had almost forgotten. The second card, for the present, was like a big neon sign showing me what was going on right then. And the third card, the future one, was like a little peek into what might come. It was kind of spooky but also really cool.
After that, I moved on to the Celtic Cross Spread. This one’s a bit more complicated. I had to lay out ten cards in a specific pattern. It took me a while to figure out where each card should go. But once I got it set up, it was like a whole story was unfolding in front of me. Each card seemed to be telling a different part of my life, from my inner self to the external influences around me.
I also tried the Horseshoe Spread. It’s shaped like a horseshoe, of course. I thought it would be easy, but it still had its own quirks. This spread is great for getting a quick overview of a situation. It gave me a sense of the general flow of things and what I might expect in the short – term.
Throughout all these spreads, I was jotting down notes. I wanted to remember what each card meant in each spread and how it made me feel. It was like keeping a little diary of my tarot journey.
By the end of my session, I felt like I had a much better understanding of these common tarot spreads. It wasn’t always easy, and there were times when I was scratching my head trying to figure out what a card meant. But overall, it was an amazing experience. I’m definitely going to keep exploring more spreads and see what else the tarot has in store for me.
