Well, I’ve always been kinda curious about tarot cards, especially the so – called transparent tarot. I mean, can they really predict the future? I decided to find out myself.
First, I went to a local new – age shop. I walked in and there were all these shiny things on the shelves. I asked the shopkeeper where the transparent tarot cards were. He pointed me to a corner. I picked up a deck. They looked really cool, all see – through and stuff. I paid for them and took them home.
Once I got home, I sat down at my table. I shuffled the cards like I’d seen in movies. It was a bit tricky at first, ’cause they were see – through and kinda slippery. Then I decided to do a simple three – card spread. I laid them out one by one. The first card showed a figure that looked like it was walking into the unknown. The second one had a stormy sky, and the third one was a rainbow.
I was like, “What the heck do these mean?” So I opened up the little guidebook that came with the cards. It said the first card meant I was about to start a new journey. The second one indicated some troubles ahead, and the third one meant good times after the bad. I was skeptical, but I wrote down what the cards showed and what the guidebook said.
Over the next few weeks, I kept an eye on my life. And you know what? I did start a new project at work, which was like that new journey. Then I had a big argument with a colleague, just like the stormy sky card. And after that, I got a promotion, just like the rainbow card.
I was really surprised. But then I thought, was it just a coincidence? I decided to do another reading. This time, I did a five – card spread. I shuffled the cards again, which was still a pain in the butt. I laid them out and started looking at the guidebook again.
However, as I continued to do more readings, I realized that sometimes the interpretations were so vague that they could fit almost any situation. For example, a card that said “change” could mean anything from changing my hairstyle to changing my job.
So, I talked to an expert. I found a tarot expert online and told them about my experiences. They said that tarot is more of a tool for self – reflection than a real future – predicting device. The images on the cards can trigger our subconscious thoughts and help us see things from different perspectives.
In the end, I still think transparent tarot is really cool. It’s fun to do readings and see what the cards say. But as for predicting the future, I’m still not fully convinced. It might just be a way to give us a little nudge in our thinking, rather than a crystal ball that shows us what’s coming.
