So, I was super curious about tarot cleansing on my own. I mean, I’d heard about it, but never tried it myself. First off, I did a bit of research on the internet. I just typed in “how to cleanse tarot cards” and there were tons of results.
I started by gathering the stuff I needed. I got some sage, which I heard is great for cleansing. I went to a local store and just grabbed a bundle. It smelled kind of earthy and nice.
Then, I set up a little area in my room. I laid out my tarot cards on my bed. They were all mixed up, and I was a bit nervous about doing it right.
I lit the sage, and man, that smoke was something else. It started billowing up, and I kind of coughed a bit at first. But then I started using my hand to waft the smoke over the cards. I went really slow, making sure each card got a good dose of that sage smoke.
While I was doing that, I was thinking about all the negative energy leaving the cards. I know it sounds a bit woo – woo, but it felt right.
After that, I put the sage out. I didn’t want to set my room on fire or anything! Then, I took the cards and shuffled them like crazy. I mean, I was really giving it my all, just shuffling and shuffling.
Once I was done shuffling, I put the cards back in their little box. And you know what? I felt like the cards were different. They seemed more… I don’t know, fresh? Like they were ready to give me some real good readings.
So, yeah, that was my experience with self – cleansing tarot cards. It was kind of fun, and I think I’ll do it again next time I feel like the cards need a little pick – me – up.
