So today I opened my phone to check horoscopes again – been doing that every morning while drinking coffee for the past two years. Stumbled upon this “Daily Horoscope Virgo Celebrity Match” thing when scrolling through my feed. Looked kinda fun, so figured why not try it out myself?
Getting Started
First clicked the big “Start” button but nothing happened for like 20 seconds. Just showed that annoying spinning circle thing. Hit refresh three times before it finally loaded this questionnaire page. Questions were super random like:
- What color socks are you wearing right now? (Mine were black)
- Would you eat pizza at 3am? (Obviously)
- Pick a number between 1-10 for no reason (Chose 7)
Finished answering all 15 questions feeling pretty confused honestly. Couldn’t see how sock colors connect to star signs. But whatever, clicked submit expecting some magic.
The Waiting Game
Then came this loading screen showing progress bars crawling slower than snails. Progress bar stopped at 78% for two whole minutes. Almost closed the tab but then it suddenly jumped to 100% with a loud “ding” sound that made me spill coffee. Damn.
The Big Reveal
Screen flashed pink and gold (not really Virgo colors but okay) showing “Your Perfect Match Is…” followed by rotating photos of celebrities. Kept blinking through:
- Keanu Reeves? Nah
- Emma Watson? Maybe
- Beyoncé? Uhh no way
Finally landed on… Tom Hanks. With this explanation: “Virgos and Libras share pragmatic energies! Like Tom’s character in Castaway, you both find creative solutions!”
Nearly choked on my coffee. That movie’s literally about a guy talking to a volleyball. What kind of compatibility is that?
Final Thoughts
Spent next hour telling my cat how ridiculous the “logic” was. Supposed Virgo traits they listed didn’t match me at all – said I should be organizing closets when my laptop charger’s been lost in this messy room for weeks. At least gave me good laughter material with the Tom Hanks comparison. Still not planning movie nights with volleyballs though.
