Starting My Virgo Routine Early
Alright, so I decided to actually check my daily Virgo horoscope thing today. Honestly, I usually just scroll past this stuff, but my buddy Mike kept bugging me about trying it for a week. Said it might surprise me. Figured, why not? Couldn’t hurt.
First thing this morning, I grabbed my phone while still half-asleep. Opened up that astrology app I downloaded ages ago and totally forgot about – you know the one, loads of ads for tarot readings. Scrolled down to the Virgo section. August 23rd to September 22nd, that’s me.
What Today Had in Store
The app said Virgos should focus on “practical matters” today. Shocker. Apparently, Mercury or whatever is in a good spot for organizing stuff. They also mentioned something about unexpected conversations bringing opportunities – bit vague, but okay.

Then came the main event: the lucky stuff. Here’s what it said:
- Lucky Color: Navy Blue. Seriously? Not exactly my go-to. I own one navy shirt, buried deep in the closet.
- Lucky Number: 7. Cool, simple enough.
Actually Trying it Out
Okay, challenge accepted. How do you even “use” a lucky number? I decided to keep it basic. Chose aisle number 7 at the grocery store instead of my usual 4. Felt kinda silly pushing the cart down that way. Also played the number 7 when I grabbed one of those scratch-off tickets later at the gas station (spoiler: won two bucks, not life-changing).
The color was trickier. No way I was digging out that old navy shirt. Instead, I put a navy blue pen on my desk while working. Seemed practical. Maybe the “practical matters” vibe was working? Used that pen all morning for notes.
Did It Do Anything?
Honestly? Not sure about the “luck” part. That scratch-off win barely covered the cost of the ticket. Kinda felt like a win because it’s usually a total loss though? Maybe that’s the luck? Or maybe it was the focusing on practical stuff that the horoscope mentioned.
The weird part was the unexpected conversation. Got a call outta the blue from someone I worked with years ago. Weird timing, just chatting about old projects. Nothing groundbreaking, but it was pleasant. Made me think of the horoscope.
Overall, it didn’t make the sun shine brighter or money fall from the sky. But paying attention to it made me think a bit differently about little choices – like which aisle I walked down, what pen I used. Kinda cool in a subtle way. Gonna see if tomorrow says anything wild, like “lucky food is avocado toast” or something.
