Back in June 2019, I was really into checking out the career horoscope for Virgo. I started by grabbing a popular horoscope app on my phone. You know, those things are like little crystal balls for your life, right?
I opened the app and quickly found the section for Virgo’s career horoscope for June 2019. It said some interesting stuff, like I should be more proactive at work. So, I decided to take action.
I started by making a list of all the projects I was involved in at work. Then, I went through each one and thought about how I could take the lead. I remember one project where we were developing a new product. The horoscope said I should communicate better, so I called a team meeting.
I stood up in front of the team and started talking about my ideas for the product. It was a bit scary at first, but I just kept going. I used simple words, not those fancy business jargon, so everyone could understand. After the meeting, I followed up with each team member individually, asking for their thoughts and suggestions.
The horoscope also mentioned that I should look for new opportunities. So, I started browsing through the company’s internal job board. I found a few positions that sounded interesting and I applied for them. I didn’t just send in a boring resume; I wrote a cover letter that was more like a friendly chat, telling them why I thought I’d be a good fit.
As the month went on, I kept following the tips from the horoscope. I was more organized at work, making to – do lists every day and crossing off tasks as I completed them. I also started networking with other departments. I’d go to the company’s coffee breaks and strike up conversations with people I didn’t know well.
By the end of June 2019, I noticed some real changes. I got more involved in important projects at work, and my boss even complimented me on my improved communication skills. One of the job applications I sent out led to an interview, and although I didn’t get that particular job, I learned a lot from the process.
Looking back, I think those horoscope tips really gave me the push I needed to be more proactive in my career. It’s not like the horoscope predicted everything exactly, but it did give me some good ideas to try out. And who knows, maybe there’s a little bit of truth in those star – based predictions after all!
