Honestly I’ve never been much into horoscopes but yesterday my buddy kept bugging me ’bout checking Virgo predictions. Figured hey why not give it a shot today? Woke up around 7am feeling kinda bleh like always, but remembered I promised to track this cash horoscope thing.
First thing after brushing teeth? Grabbed my phone scrolling through some astrology apps till I found that Daily Virgo Money section. Screen showed this: “Financial discipline is key! Unexpected expenses might pop up – resist impulse buys!” Felt like a kick in the teeth ’cause I’d just seen these slick wireless earbuds online.
How I Actually Followed The Advice
- Made coffee instead of buying Starbucks ($7 saved right there)
- Opened my banking app and moved $50 to savings IMMEDIATELY before I could change my mind
- Deleted that shopping app where I almost clicked checkout on those dang earbuds
- Texted my sister who always asks for loans “Sorry sis, tapped out this week” when she asked
Crazy thing? Around noon my car tire got a nail. Repair cost? Exactly $48. Normally I’d be freaking out but that random $50 transfer covered it almost spot on. Felt wild like the stars actually warned me! Still skeptical though – maybe just coincidence?
Rest of the day I avoided vending machines and didn’t order takeout. Ended up cooking rice and eggs which tasted like sadness but saved like $15. Stars got me eating prison meals basically. Worth it? Dunno yet but I’ll check my wallet tomorrow.
