Well, I got my hands on the Dark Goddess Tarot deck a while back, and I decided to put it through its paces. First off, I unpacked the deck. It came in a nice little box, and when I opened it up, I saw these cool-looking cards.
I started by just shuffling the cards. They felt okay in my hands, not too slippery or anything. Then, I did a simple three – card spread. I was like, “Let’s see what these cards have to say.” I laid them out one by one on the table in front of me.
The artwork on the cards is pretty wild. It’s got this dark, mysterious vibe. There are these goddess – like figures with all sorts of crazy symbols around them. I was trying to figure out what each card meant based on the pictures. I mean, I’m not an expert tarot reader, but I’ve done a bit of research.
I kept doing different spreads over the next few days. I did a five – card spread one time, which was a bit more complicated. I had to really think about how all the cards related to each other. Sometimes, the interpretations I came up with seemed to make sense in my life at that moment, and other times, I was just scratching my head.
I also showed the deck to a few of my friends. They were like, “Whoa, these cards are intense!” One of them even wanted to try a reading for themselves. So, I let her shuffle the cards and do a spread. She was really into it, and she said the cards seemed to be giving her some good advice.
Now, the big question is, is it worth your money? Well, the deck isn’t exactly cheap. But if you’re into tarot and you like the dark, edgy kind of art, then it might be worth it. According to some tarot enthusiasts I’ve talked to, a good tarot deck can last you a long time and become a really useful tool for self – reflection.
For me, I think it was a fun investment. I’ve had a lot of interesting experiences with it so far. But if you’re on a tight budget, you might want to think twice. Maybe check out some reviews online or see if you can find it at a second – hand store. But overall, I’d say it’s a pretty cool deck, and I’m glad I got it.
