Well, I decided to do a free tarot reading using the Celtic Cross spread. First, I got my trusty tarot deck out from the drawer. It’s been with me for ages, all worn – in and full of stories.
I shuffled the cards like crazy. I was kinda nervous, you know? Like I was about to peek into some secret stuff. I shuffled so hard that a couple of cards almost flew out of my hands!
Then, I laid out the first card for the center of the Celtic Cross. It represents the present situation. I stared at it for a while, trying to make sense of the symbols on it. It was like looking at a riddle.
Next, I placed the second card across the first one. This card shows the challenge or obstacle. It looked a bit menacing, with all those dark – looking figures on it. I thought, “Oh boy, what kind of trouble is this?”
After that, I put the third card above the first two. It’s about the recent past. It seemed to tell a story of something that had just happened, like a little flashback in card form.
I continued laying out the cards one by one, following the pattern of the Celtic Cross. Each card had its own spot and meaning. The fourth card was below, showing the near future. It looked kinda promising, with some bright colors.
As I placed the remaining cards, which represent different aspects like the person’s attitude, external influences, hopes and fears, and the final outcome, I was getting more and more into it. It was like building a puzzle, but each piece was a card with a hidden message.
Once all the cards were laid out, I sat back and took a good look at the whole spread. It was like a map of someone’s life at that moment. I started interpreting the cards, trying to connect the dots between them. Sometimes, the meanings were obvious, but other times, I had to scratch my head and think hard.
Finally, I wrote down my interpretations. It was a long process, but it was really interesting. I felt like I had just had a little chat with the universe through these cards. And that’s how I did my free tarot reading with the Celtic Cross spread!
