My Actual Tarot Journal Mess Process
Alright, so yesterday I thought, “Hey, wanna try that tarot journal thing everyone’s talking about?” Figured I should just start simple. Didn’t wanna spend money either, obviously.
First thing I did? I grabbed my phone. Went straight to the browser, no fancy apps. Typed in “free tarot journal pdf”. Scrolled past like, ten pages full of junk. Kept clicking through links. Found some weird forums talking about it.
Found a few legit-looking links. Most asked for my email address. Nah, not doing that. Finally stumbled on one that didn’t ask for anything! Just a big “Download” button, plain and simple. Clicked that sucker.
Got the PDF open on my old laptop. Honestly, it looked kinda basic. Just blank spaces mostly. Some pages for card meanings, others for personal thoughts. Worked for me. Printed it out on my janky home printer. Ran outta black ink halfway through the “Daily Draw” section. Made that page all pink and blue. Funny lookin’, but still works.
Taped those printed pages together kinda messy. Stuck ‘em inside this beat-up binder I found under my bed. Boom. Instant Tarot Journal. Scribbled today’s date on the first page.
Grabbed my deck off the shelf – cards were dusty, wiped ‘em quick. Shuffled awkwardly for a minute. Drew one card randomly. Pulled the Three of Cups. Flipped through my printed guide quick.
Started scribbling: “Feeling meh today, busy work. Card says parties and friends? LOL no friends this week. Maybe talk to Sarah tomorrow?” Wrote it all down messy. Drew a terrible stick figure next to it.
Flipped to the next blank page. Drew a box for my “Card of the Week”. No idea which card yet. Figure I’ll just stick it in later. Made a quick list of stuff I wanna figure out later: “Understand reversals better”, “Stop dropping cards”.
That’s basically my whole setup now. My “free easy method” worked like junk: printed a free PDF, glued it into an old binder, scribbled notes. Took maybe 30 minutes total, including printer drama. Not pretty, not deep, but it’s started. Done.
