At the beginning of 2020, I was really struggling with work – related stress as a Virgo. The new year’s work seemed to pile up like a mountain, and I felt like I was drowning in it.
I started by analyzing my work tasks. I sat down at my desk, took out a pen and paper, and wrote down every single task I had to do. This helped me to see the whole picture clearly. I categorized them into urgent and non – urgent, important and less important ones. By doing this, I realized that some tasks were actually not as pressing as I thought, and I could postpone them a bit.
Next, I tried to set a schedule. I divided my workday into small time blocks and assigned specific tasks to each block. For example, from 9 to 10 am, I would focus on answering important emails. It was tough at first to stick to the schedule, but I forced myself to follow it. If I got distracted, I reminded myself of the schedule and got back on track.

I also started taking short breaks during work. Every hour or so, I would stand up, stretch my body, and walk around the office for a few minutes. This really helped me to relax my mind and body. Sometimes, I would even grab a cup of coffee and chat with my colleagues for a bit. It was like a mini – recharge for me.
When it came to dealing with difficult colleagues or projects, I tried to communicate more. Instead of keeping my frustration inside, I talked to my colleagues about the problems we were facing. We discussed different solutions and came up with better ways to handle the work. This not only reduced my stress but also improved the work efficiency.
As time went by, I found that these methods were really working. I managed to handle my work – related stress better. The key was to be organized, take breaks, and communicate. I’m not saying that I never felt stressed again, but I now have a set of tools to deal with it. If you’re a Virgo facing work – related stress in 2020, I hope my experience can give you some ideas on how to handle it.
