Back in 2015, I was really into checking out horoscopes, especially for my Virgo sign when it came to my career. I started by grabbing a bunch of astrology magazines. I flipped through the pages, scanning for the Virgo section about career in 2015.
I read that there were supposed to be some great opportunities waiting for Virgos in 2015. So, I decided to take action. I updated my resume, making it look super sharp. I added all my recent achievements and skills. Then, I started applying for jobs like crazy. I filled out online forms, attached my resume, and hit the submit button again and again.
I also networked a lot. I went to industry events, shook hands with people, and exchanged business cards. I talked to them about my career goals and listened to their advice. I even joined some professional groups on social media and participated in discussions.
After a while, I started getting some interview calls. I prepared for each interview like it was a big deal. I practiced answering common questions in front of the mirror, made sure my clothes were neat, and arrived early at the interview locations.
During the interviews, I tried my best to show my enthusiasm and skills. I told stories about my past projects and how I overcame challenges. And guess what? I landed a few job offers!
Looking back, I think the horoscope might have given me that extra push to be more proactive in my career. It made me believe that there were good things coming my way, and I took steps to make it happen. Whether it was really the horoscope or just my own efforts, I’m happy with the results. In 2015, I made some great career moves and set myself up for future success.
