Well, I’ve always been a bit curious about money horoscopes, especially for my own star sign, Virgo. So, I decided to put it to the test and see just how accurate these money horoscopes really are.
First off, I started by gathering a bunch of money horoscopes for Virgos from different sources. I hit up those popular astrology websites, flipped through some magazines with astrology sections, and even asked a couple of friends who are into this stuff for their favorite horoscope spots. I printed out all these horoscopes and stuck them on my wall, so I could keep an eye on them every day.
Then, I made a simple spreadsheet. I labeled one column for the date, another for the money – related prediction from the horoscope, and a third column to record what actually happened to my finances that day. It was like a little science experiment, but for my wallet!
For the next month, I religiously checked the horoscopes every morning. Some days, they said I’d get a little windfall, like finding some extra cash in my old jeans or getting a small bonus at work. Other days, they warned me about unexpected expenses, like a sudden car repair or a bill that I’d forgotten about.
Each day, I’d write down what the horoscope said and then at the end of the day, I’d note down what really went down with my money. There were times when it seemed like the horoscope was spot – on. For example, one horoscope said I’d have an unexpected income from a side gig, and that same day, a client I’d done some freelance work for paid me earlier than expected. I was like, “Wow, maybe there’s something to this!”
But then there were also days when the horoscope was way off. It predicted I’d have a big shopping spree, but I didn’t feel like buying anything at all. Or it said I’d lose some money, but my finances were as steady as a rock that day.
At the end of the month, I sat down and analyzed my spreadsheet. Out of 30 days, only about 10 of the horoscope predictions actually matched what happened to my money. That’s only about 33% accuracy! Not exactly a high – score.
So, based on my little experiment, it seems like money horoscopes for Virgos (and probably for other signs too) are more of a fun thing to read than a reliable financial guide. Sure, they might hit the mark every now and then, but you definitely shouldn’t base your financial decisions on them. After all, real – life money matters are way more complicated than what a few lines of astrological prediction can tell you.
