Back in 2014, I was super into horoscopes, especially the monthly ones for Virgo. I started this whole thing by getting my hands on different sources of Virgo monthly horoscopes. I scoured through magazines, searched online on various astrology websites, and even asked my friends who were also into horoscopes to share the ones they found.
I then decided to keep a detailed record. I got a notebook and every month, right at the beginning, I’d write down the predictions from each source. For example, one horoscope said I’d have a big career opportunity in March, another mentioned a possible romantic encounter in June.
As the months went by, I religiously noted down what actually happened to me. In March, I did get an invitation to a big industry event, which could potentially lead to a career boost. I marked it down as a hit for that horoscope. But in June, no romantic encounter happened at all, so that was a miss.
I continued this process for the whole year. By the end of 2014, I sat down and analyzed the results. Out of all the predictions I recorded, about 30% seemed to match what actually happened. It wasn’t a super high accuracy rate, but it was still kind of interesting to see that some of the horoscopes got it right.
According to some astrology experts, horoscopes are more like general guidelines rather than absolute truths. They say that the alignment of stars and planets can influence certain aspects of our lives, but there are so many other factors at play that it’s impossible to predict everything accurately. For example, our own decisions and actions can greatly change the course of our lives.
So, in conclusion, based on my 2014 Virgo monthly horoscope experiment, they’re not super accurate, but they can still be fun to read and give us something to think about. Maybe it’s just a bit of harmless entertainment, like looking at a crystal ball and imagining what the future might hold.
