Back in 2018, I was really into checking out how Virgos handle money. I’m a Virgo myself, so I thought it’d be cool to dig in and see what I could learn from my own experiences.
First off, I started tracking my expenses. I got this little notebook and every time I spent money, I’d write it down. Like when I went to the coffee shop and bought a latte, I’d note down how much it cost. This helped me see where my money was going. I realized I was spending a ton on snacks and impulse buys at the convenience store.
Then, I set up a budget. I sat down with my notebook and figured out how much I needed to spend on rent, groceries, and bills. After that, I decided how much I could spend on fun stuff like going to the movies or eating out. It wasn’t easy at first, ’cause I really wanted to buy that new video game, but I stuck to my budget.
I also started saving money. I opened a separate savings account and automated a small transfer from my checking account every month. It was like I wasn’t even missing the money. And over time, that savings account started to grow.
When it came to big purchases, I did my research. For example, when I needed a new phone, I compared prices at different stores and read reviews online. I waited for a sale and ended up getting a great deal. I didn’t just jump in and buy the first thing I saw.
Another thing I did was look for ways to make extra cash. I sold some old clothes and gadgets I didn’t use anymore on eBay. And I took on a few odd jobs like dog – walking on the weekends. That extra money really helped me reach my financial goals faster.
By the end of 2018, I saw some real results. I had more money in my savings account, I wasn’t overspending on unnecessary things, and I felt more in control of my finances. These tips worked for me, and if you’re a Virgo or just looking to handle money better, you might want to give ’em a try!
