Well, I’ve always been into dogs, and when I got a Virgo dog, I was like, “Okay, let’s figure this out!”
Step 1: Observation
I started by just watching the Virgo dog. I noticed it was super organized. Its toys were always sort of in a line, and it would always go to the same spot to sleep. It was like it had its own little system. I watched how it interacted with other dogs in the park. It was a bit picky about who it played with, not just jumping into any dog – group like some other breeds.
Step 2: Routine Setting
I knew Virgo dogs like routines. So, I set a regular schedule for feeding, walking, and playtime. Every morning at 7 am, I’d feed it. Then, at 9 am, we’d go for a walk around the block. In the afternoon, around 3 pm, it was playtime with its favorite ball. And at 8 pm, it was bedtime. At first, it was a bit of a struggle to get it used to the routine, but after a couple of weeks, it was like clockwork. It would come to me at the right time, expecting what was next.
Step 3: Mental Stimulation
Virgo dogs are smart, so they need mental challenges. I bought some puzzle toys. One was a treat – hiding ball. You could put treats inside, and the dog had to figure out how to roll it to get the treats out. It was really into it! It would sit there, pawing at the ball, trying different ways to get the treats. I also taught it some new tricks, like shaking hands and rolling over. It picked up these tricks pretty fast, but it would get a bit frustrated if it couldn’t do it right away. I had to be patient and keep practicing with it.
Step 4: Communication
Communication with a Virgo dog is key. I used a calm and clear voice when giving commands. I noticed that if I was too loud or aggressive, it would get scared or confused. I also paid attention to its body language. When its tail was wagging gently, it was happy. But when it tucked its tail between its legs, it was either scared or not feeling well. By understanding these signals, I could respond better to its needs.
Step 5: Hygiene
Virgo dogs seem to be a bit clean – conscious. I made sure to keep its living area clean. I washed its bed every week and cleaned its food and water bowls daily. I also gave it a bath once a month. At first, it wasn’t too happy about the bath, but after a few times, it got used to it. And it always seemed to be more energetic and playful after a good bath.
After following these steps, I can say that getting along with my Virgo dog has been a great experience. It’s like having a little organized buddy by my side. We’ve developed a really good bond, and I’ve learned so much about this unique breed. If you have a Virgo dog or are thinking about getting one, give these steps a try. You might be surprised at how well it works!
