At the beginning of 2023, I was really into horoscopes. As a Virgo myself, I was super curious about how to boost my money luck according to the horoscope. So, I started my little adventure.
First, I did some research. I read a bunch of horoscope articles online. They said that Virgos should organize their financial affairs better. So, I took out all my bank statements and bills. I sat down at my desk and started sorting them out. I made a list of all my income and expenses. It was a real mess at first, but I kept at it. I used a pen and paper to write everything down, not some fancy app.
Next, the horoscope said that Virgos should try new ways to make money. I thought, “Well, why not?” So, I started looking for side – gigs. I signed up for some online survey websites. Every day after work, I would sit in front of my computer and answer those surveys. It was boring sometimes, but I kept going. I also started selling some of my old stuff on second – hand platforms. I took pictures of my old clothes, books, and electronics, uploaded them, and waited for buyers.
Another thing the horoscope mentioned was about saving money. It said Virgos should be more aware of their spending habits. So, I started keeping a small notebook with me. Every time I bought something, I would write it down. I realized I was spending a lot on coffee. So, I decided to make my own coffee at home. It was a bit of a struggle at first because I love the coffee from the coffee shop, but I stuck to it.
As the year went on, I kept doing these things. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I wanted to see if it would work. And guess what? By the end of 2023, I noticed a change. My savings had increased. The money from the surveys and selling old stuff added up. I also saved a lot by making my own coffee.
Looking back on this whole process, I think whether it was really the horoscope’s influence or just my own efforts, it doesn’t really matter. The important thing is that I took action to improve my financial situation. And that’s something I’m really proud of.
