Back in 2016, I was really into astrology, especially when it came to Virgo, as I have a few Virgo friends. I wanted to see if I could actually improve a Virgo’s career and money situation based on astrological advice.
First, I did a lot of research. I read tons of astrology books and online articles. I found out that Virgos are supposed to be detail – oriented and hard – working, but they can also be overly critical of themselves. The advice said that to improve their career, they should focus on networking and showing off their skills more.
I started by encouraging my Virgo friend, let’s call him Tom. I told him to join some industry – related groups on social media. He was kind of hesitant at first, like “Why do I need to talk to all those people?” But I pushed him, and he reluctantly joined a few groups. He started posting about his work achievements and asking for advice on projects.

For the money part, the astrological stuff said that Virgos should be more careful with their spending and look for side hustles. I helped Tom make a budget. We sat down with a spreadsheet and listed all his expenses. He was shocked to see how much he was spending on coffee every month! Then, we brainstormed some side hustle ideas. He was good at graphic design, so we decided he could offer some freelance design services on the side.
Tom started reaching out to his contacts to see if anyone needed design work. It was slow at first. He got a few small projects here and there. But as he kept networking in those industry groups, more people started noticing his skills. He landed a big project from a company he’d never even heard of before.
As time went on, his career took off. He got a promotion at his day job because his boss noticed how well – connected he was and how his side projects were bringing in more clients. And his freelance work was also making him a nice extra income.
Looking back, it’s kind of crazy how following some astrological advice actually worked. Maybe there’s something to this whole astrology thing after all. But I think a big part of it was just getting Tom out of his comfort zone and making him take action. So, if you’re a Virgo or know one, don’t be afraid to try some of these things in your own life!
