Well, back in October 2015, I was really into horoscopes, especially when it came to my career as a Virgo. I decided to give it a shot and see if I could improve my career based on what the horoscope said.
First off, the horoscope suggested that I should start by organizing my workspace. So, I cleaned up my desk. I threw away all the old papers and organized my files into folders. It was like a mini spring cleaning for my work area. I even bought a few cute little organizers to keep my pens and sticky notes in order.
Next, it said I needed to network more. I signed up for a couple of industry – related meet – ups. I was kind of nervous at first, but I forced myself to go. At these events, I started conversations with people. I asked them about their jobs and shared a bit about what I did. It was actually pretty cool to meet new folks in my field.
The horoscope also mentioned that I should take on new challenges. So, I volunteered for a project at work that no one else wanted to do. It was a bit scary because I wasn’t sure if I could handle it. But I jumped in and started working on it right away. I stayed up late a few nights to get it done, but I learned a lot in the process.
Another thing it told me was to improve my communication skills. I joined a public speaking group. There, I practiced giving speeches and got feedback from others. It was tough at first, but I kept at it.
By the end of October 2015, I could really see some changes. I got a lot of positive feedback on the project I worked on. I made some new contacts through networking. And I felt more confident in my communication skills. It was like following the horoscope’s advice actually helped me improve my career as a Virgo. Maybe there’s something to this horoscope stuff after all!
