Well, I’ve always been curious about the Renaissance Tarot deck. So one day, I just decided to take the plunge and try to interpret the cards myself.
First off, I went out and got myself a nice Renaissance Tarot deck. It was like bringing home a new little mystery box. When I got it, I just sat there for a bit, looking at the beautiful pictures on the cards. They were so detailed, like little windows into another world.
Then, I thought, “Okay, where do I start?” I remembered someone saying to shuffle the cards to kind of mix up the energy. So I shuffled them like a pro, or at least I tried to. It was a bit tricky at first, but I got the hang of it.
After shuffling, I decided to do a simple three – card spread. I laid the cards out in a row. The first card, I was like, “What the heck is this?” It had this funny – looking character on it. I started looking at the colors, the expressions on the faces, and the objects in the picture. I remembered reading somewhere that the colors can mean different things. Like red might mean passion or anger.
I did the same for the second and third cards. I was trying to piece together a story from these three pictures. It was like trying to solve a puzzle, but with pictures instead of pieces of cardboard.
To make sure I was on the right track, I checked out some online forums where people were talking about tarot interpretations. I read what others had to say about similar cards. Some of the stuff they said made me go, “Oh, that makes sense!” and some of it was just way out there.
As I kept doing this, I started to notice patterns. Certain cards seemed to come up more often when I was feeling a certain way. And I also started to develop my own way of looking at the cards. Like, I’d see a card and immediately think of a situation in my life that it reminded me of.
After a few weeks of doing this every now and then, I felt like I was getting pretty good at it. I could look at a card and have a decent idea of what it might be trying to tell me. It was like I’d unlocked a little secret code in these beautiful, old – fashioned pictures.
So, that’s my story of how I learned to interpret the cards in the Renaissance Tarot deck. It wasn’t easy at first, but with a bit of practice and some help from the internet, I got the hang of it. And now, every time I pick up the deck, it’s like having a little chat with the universe.
