Well, I’ve always been fascinated by tarot and magic. It all started when I saw a tarot reading at a fair. I was like, “Whoa, that’s so cool!” And I decided right then and there that I wanted to learn it.
First thing I did was buy a tarot deck. I went to a local new – age shop and spent ages looking at different decks. Finally, I picked one with really colorful and interesting cards. Then, I got some books about tarot. I mean, I had no clue where to start, so I thought books were a good way to go.
I began by just looking at the cards, trying to understand the pictures on them. I’d hold a card in my hand and stare at it for minutes, thinking about what it could mean. I made little notes about each card, like what emotions it made me feel and what kind of situations it might represent.
Next, I started practicing readings on myself. It was kind of weird at first, trying to be both the reader and the person getting the reading. But I’d shuffle the cards, lay them out in a simple spread, and then try to interpret them based on what I’d read in the books. Sometimes, the interpretations seemed to make sense, and other times, I was like, “What the heck does this mean?”
As for magic, I started with some basic spells. I found a few beginner – friendly spells online. I remember one was a spell for good luck. I gathered the ingredients, which were things like a green candle, some herbs, and a piece of paper. I followed the steps, lighting the candle, saying the words, and all that. It felt a bit silly at first, but I was curious to see if it would work.
I also joined some online communities of tarot and magic enthusiasts. There, I could ask questions, share my experiences, and learn from others. People were really helpful, giving me tips on how to improve my tarot readings and suggesting different spells to try.
Over time, my tarot readings got better. I could pick up on more subtle meanings in the cards, and I was able to give more detailed and accurate readings to myself and my friends. And as for magic, well, I can’t say for sure if the spells were actually working, but I did feel a bit more positive and in control of my life.
Now, I’m still learning. There’s always more to discover in the world of tarot and magic. But I’ve come a long way from that day at the fair when I first got interested. If you’re thinking about learning tarot and magic, my advice is to just jump in, start small, and keep practicing. You never know what you might discover!
