So, I was curious about yogic tarot and decided to give it a shot. First off, I bought a set of yogic tarot cards. I picked one that had really cool and colorful illustrations. It was like opening a box of magic!
Then, I started by just shuffling the cards. I know it sounds simple, but it was kind of soothing. I held the cards in my hands and moved them around, trying to get a feel for them. After a few shuffles, I laid them out on a table in front of me.
As a beginner, I didn’t really know where to start. So, I decided to focus on one card at a time. I picked a random card from the deck and looked at it closely. I tried to understand the symbols and the image on the card. For example, there was a card with a person in a yoga pose, and I thought about what that pose might represent in terms of my life, like balance or strength.

I also researched a bit online. There were some experts who said that it’s important to connect the tarot cards with your own yoga practice. So, I tried to do some of the yoga poses related to the cards I drew. It was a really interesting experience. I felt more in tune with the meaning of the cards when I was actually doing the poses.
Another thing I did was to keep a journal. Every time I drew a card, I wrote down my thoughts and feelings about it. I noted any insights I had or any connections I made to my daily life. This helped me to look back and see how my understanding of the yogic tarot was growing over time.
Finally, I shared my experiences with some friends who were also into yoga. We had some really fun discussions about the cards and what they meant. We compared our interpretations, and it was amazing how different our views could be on the same card. This broadened my perspective and made me appreciate the complexity of yogic tarot even more.
So, those are my experiences with using yogic tarot as a beginner. It’s been a wild ride, full of learning and self – discovery. If you’re thinking about trying it out, just go for it! You might be surprised at what you find.
