Well, I’ve always been kinda curious about horoscopes. You know, those daily predictions in the papers. So, I decided to check out the New York Post’s daily horoscope for Virgo and see if it’s actually reliable.
I started by marking down the date, which was a few weeks ago. Every morning, right after I got my coffee, I’d grab the New York Post and look for the Virgo horoscope. I’d read it real carefully, and then I’d jot down what it said in a little notebook. Like, if it said something about having a good day at work or meeting someone new, I’d write that down.
Then, throughout the day, I’d pay close attention to what was happening in my life. I’d note down any events that might match what the horoscope predicted. For example, if it said I’d have a lucky break, I’d be on the lookout for anything that seemed like a lucky thing.
After a week, I sat down and compared my notes. I was kinda shocked at how little the horoscope matched what actually happened. Like, it said I’d have a great time at a social event, but I didn’t even go to any social events that week!
I kept doing this for a few more weeks. Sometimes, there were a couple of things that sorta matched, but most of the time, it was way off. For instance, it predicted I’d get a financial windfall, but I didn’t see any extra money coming in.
Finally, after a month of this, I came to a conclusion. The daily New York Post horoscope for Virgo ain’t really that reliable. Sure, sometimes it might hit the mark, but more often than not, it’s just a bunch of vague statements that don’t really mean much.
So, if you’re like me and you’re thinking about relying on those horoscopes, maybe think again. It’s more fun to take them as a bit of a joke than as real predictions.
