Well, I’ve always been a bit of a horoscope junkie. So when I heard about the Virgo weekly horoscope on Refinery29, I was like, “Why not give it a shot?”
I started by heading over to their site every week right when the new horoscope dropped. I’d sit down with my morning coffee, and eagerly read what they had to say about my week ahead. It was like getting a little peek into the universe’s plans for me.
I took notes, too. Whenever they mentioned something about work, love, or just general vibes, I’d jot it down. I wanted to see how accurate these predictions really were. For example, one week it said I’d have a “surprising encounter” at work. I was like, “Okay, let’s see what that means.”

Throughout the week, I kept my eyes peeled. And guess what? I ran into an old colleague I hadn’t seen in ages at a work event. It was a bit of a shock, just like the horoscope said. I was pretty impressed at first.
But then, there were other times when it just didn’t seem to match up. One week it said I’d have a romantic breakthrough, but I didn’t even go on a date. I was like, “What the heck, Refinery29?”
I kept this up for a few months, comparing the horoscope predictions with what actually happened in my life. Sometimes it was spot – on, and other times it was way off.
After a while, I realized that while it was fun to read, relying too much on it might not be the best idea. It’s more like a bit of entertainment than a reliable guide. But it did make me think about how much we look for signs in the universe to make sense of our lives.
So, in the end, I’d say it’s worth a read for a bit of fun, but don’t bet your life on it. That’s my take on following the Virgo weekly horoscope on Refinery29.
