Back in 2015, I was really into horoscopes. When July came around, I got super curious about what the Virgo horoscope had to say about my career.
I started by grabbing a popular horoscope magazine. I flipped through the pages real quick until I found the part about Virgos in July 2015. It said some interesting stuff about career opportunities popping up.
Well, I wasn’t just gonna sit around and wait. I started looking for job openings right away. I typed keywords into job search websites, scrolled through tons of listings, and clicked on the ones that seemed cool.
I filled out a bunch of applications. I wrote my resume, made it look as good as I could, and hit that submit button. I was like a machine, just sending out applications left and right.
Then, I waited. And waited some more. It was like waiting for a pizza to be delivered, but the pizza never came. But then, I got a call for an interview. I was so excited, I almost jumped out of my chair.
I prepared for the interview. I practiced answering common questions in front of the mirror. I even talked to myself like a crazy person, pretending to be the interviewer and the interviewee.
The day of the interview came. I dressed up nice, took a deep breath, and walked into the building. The interview went okay, I think. I was a bit nervous, but I tried my best to show them what I could do.
After the interview, I waited again. This time, it was even harder. I kept checking my phone every five minutes, hoping for a call or an email. And finally, I got the news. I got the job!
Looking back, I think the horoscope might have been onto something. It gave me that little push to go out there and look for new career opportunities. Whether it was just a coincidence or not, I’m happy with how things turned out.
