Well, I decided to try out the Leonardo da Vinci Tarot. First, I got my hands on a deck. I picked it up from a local shop, just strolled in and asked the guy at the counter for it. He pointed me to the right shelf, and there it was.
Then, I took it home and sat down at my table. I carefully opened the box, like I was unwrapping a precious gift. Inside, the cards were all neatly packed. I started by shuffling them. I shuffled and shuffled, making sure they got all mixed up. It felt a bit like mixing a deck of playing cards, but these cards had all these cool pictures on them.
After shuffling, I decided to do a simple three – card spread. I laid the first card down, kind of like gently placing it on the table. It was the card of The Magician. I looked at it, and it had this guy with all these symbols around him. I thought, “What the heck does this mean?”
Next, I laid the second card. It was The Lovers. There were two people standing there, looking at each other. I was like, “Okay, this is getting interesting.”
Finally, I put down the third card, which was The World. It had this big circle with all these figures in it. I scratched my head, trying to figure out what this whole spread was telling me.
I then grabbed the little booklet that came with the deck. I flipped through the pages, looking for the meanings of these cards. According to the booklet, The Magician meant I had the power to make things happen. The Lovers was about choices in relationships, and The World was a sign of completion or achievement.
I sat back and thought about my life. I was in the middle of making some decisions about my job, and I had a few friends I was kind of drifting away from. I started to think that maybe these cards were trying to tell me something. Maybe I had the power to make things better at work, and I needed to make some choices about my friendships.
After that, I did a few more spreads over the next few days. Each time, I got different cards, and I tried to figure out what they meant in the context of my life. It was like a little game of trying to read my own future or at least understand what was going on inside my head.
Overall, trying out the Leonardo da Vinci Tarot was a fun experience. It made me think about myself and my life in ways I hadn’t before. It’s not like I’m going to base all my decisions on it, but it’s definitely a cool thing to play around with.
