Need Elle UK Monthly Virgo Advice? (Get Your June Plan!)

Okay so I needed this Elle UK June plan like yesterday. Freaking out a bit, end of May felt like a runaway train. You know, that classic Virgo feeling where your mind’s buzzing with a million things and you can’t focus on any of them? Yeah, that. Saw someone mention Elle UK’s monthly Virgo advice somewhere online and figured, why not give it a shot? Needed something to grab onto for June.

Hunting Down the Advice

First thing, I jumped online. Didn’t wanna spend ages digging, luckily found a snippet pretty quick – think it was a summary someone had posted. The key points for June grabbed me right away:

  • Get that Morning Routine Sorted: Elle was hammering this point home. Proper grounding before the chaos hits.
  • Deep Dive on ONE Big Thing: Forget the scattershot approach. Pick a major project or goal and actually see it through.
  • Guard Your Energy Like a Dragon: Seriously, learn to say “nah” when stuff isn’t serving you.
  • Connect (But Make it Count): Quality chats over superficial ones.
  • Health Stuff Matters: Food, movement, actually relaxing.

My Virgo Planning Party

Right, decision made. I was doing this Elle plan. Grabbed my trusty notebook – you know, the one I use for literally everything but often abandon halfway? Wrote “Elle UK Virgo Plan June” big and bold at the top.

Step 1: Attack the Morning Routine. My current “routine” mostly involved hitting snooze and panic-chugging coffee. Elle wasn’t having it. So I sat down and wrote out what I wanted it to look like:

  • Wake up at 6:30 AM (gulp).
  • 10 mins stretching/yoga right out of bed.
  • Make proper coffee, sit quietly for 5 mins just breathing and looking out the window.
  • Write a quick brain dump list for the day.
  • NO PHONE for the first 30 mins.

Felt ambitious, but hey, Virgos love a challenge.

Step 2: The ONE Big Thing. Looked at my massive to-do list. Stress levels rising. Applied Elle’s rule. What really mattered? Signed up for an online course ages ago and kept putting it off. That’s the ONE. Wrote it down: “Complete Module 1 & 2 by June 15th”. Everything else got moved to a “Later” list. Felt instantly lighter.

Step 3: Guarding Energy. This is tough for me. People pleaser tendencies. Wrote “GUARD ENERGY” across a whole page. Seriously, scribbled it big. Then listed specific situations I needed to practise saying “no” or “let me get back to you” without explanations. Also noted evenings after 8pm are MY time, no work emails, no draining calls.

Step 4: Connect Wisely. Didn’t plan specific people, but made a note: Be fully present in conversations I DO have. Reach out to actually check on friends, not just when I need something. Put “Call Sarah” as a weekly task.

Step 5: Health Check. Kept it simple:

  • Drink water. Actually track it? Maybe later…
  • Pack a decent lunch 3x week.
  • Go for a walk after work, even if just 15 mins.
  • Read fiction before bed instead of scrolling doom.

The First Week Grind & Tweaks

Started June 1st feeling optimistic. Woke up at 6:30? Managed it 3 days. The other days… closer to 7. Felt like failure. But wait, Elle said structure, not punishment. Adjusted goal: Up by 7 AM, still try for the 5 mins quiet and brain dump. The NO PHONE thing? Life changing. Seriously. It stopped me reacting to overnight chaos immediately. Sticking to that religiously.

Focusing on the ONE course? Actually working! Blocked out two 1-hour slots mid-morning on my calendar. Told colleagues I was heads down. Completed Module 1 already! Celebrated that hard.

Guarding energy? This is messy. Said “no” to joining a pointless extra committee at work – felt amazing. But still agreed to help a friend move stuff on my only free Sunday afternoon. Classic. Logged it as a “Guard Better” note for next time. At least I enforced my evening chill time rigidly. Binged a show guilt-free.

Connecting… Had a great chat with a friend, genuinely caught up. Also ignored a couple of “wyd?” texts that felt low-effort. Small win?

Health stuff is okay. Walking after work feels good. Forgot lunch twice, got chips. Packing lunches remains aspirational! Reading? Happened twice. Baby steps.

Mid-Month Check In

So, how’s June shaping up with Elle’s plan? Honestly? Better than expected.

  • The routine anchor: Even the 7 AM adjusted version makes a HUGE difference. Knowing I have that quiet start is grounding.
  • Deep work on the ONE thing: Finishing Module 2 today is happening. Feels damn good to see progress on something meaningful.
  • Energy levels are… improving? Saying “no” more often feels empowering. Protecting evening time is non-negotiable now. Still leaking energy sometimes, but more aware.
  • Connection & Health: Still the areas needing most work. But conscious effort is there.

The key? It’s not about rigid perfection. Elle laid out principles, and interpreting them for my chaotic life made them stick. My notebook is messy with scribbles and updates. June isn’t perfect, but it feels managed for the first time in ages. That alone is worth the effort. Gonna see how the second half of the month goes!
