Back in 2018, I was really into figuring out how to manage Virgo money effectively, especially in the Urdu context. I started by gathering all my financial documents. I rummaged through old drawers and folders, pulling out bank statements, bills, and receipts. It was like a treasure hunt, but instead of gold, I was looking for numbers and figures.
Next, I sat down at my old, creaky table with a pen and a big, blank notebook. I began to list all my sources of income. I had my regular job salary, and a little side gig doing some freelance work on weekends. I wrote down the exact amounts I was getting from each, trying to be as accurate as possible.
Then came the tough part – tracking my expenses. I made a commitment to write down every single thing I spent money on. Whether it was a cup of chai from the local shop or a new pair of shoes, I jotted it down. It was eye – opening. I realized I was spending a lot on little things that I didn’t really need, like those impulse snacks at the grocery store.
I also started looking into different saving methods. I heard from an old friend that setting up a separate savings account could be a good idea. So, I went to the bank, filled out a bunch of forms, and opened a new savings account. I decided to transfer a small amount of money from my main account to this savings account every month. It was like putting money away for a rainy day.
To manage my debts, I made a plan. I listed all my outstanding debts, like my credit card bill and a small loan I took from a relative. I prioritized paying off the debt with the highest interest rate first. I cut back on some non – essential spending so I could put more money towards paying off these debts.
After a few months of following these steps, I started to see some positive changes. My savings were growing steadily, and I was making a dent in my debts. I also felt more in control of my finances. I wasn’t constantly worried about where my money was going or if I could afford something. It was a great feeling, and I’m glad I took the time to learn how to manage my Virgo money effectively in 2018.
